Dr. Kraig Kottemann joined Kottemann Orthodontics in 1998 as a laboratory technician and is now one of your treating orthodontists, hoping to provide the most conservative treatments with the most esthetic results. Dr. Kraig received his bachelor’s degrees in Art Studio and Biology from the University of Notre Dame. He then got his dental degree from the Arizona School of Dentistry graduating at the top of his class. Dr. Kraig became an orthodontic specialist by completing his training at the University of Minnesota, receiving a Master’s of Science.

Dr. Kraig has brought the new technology of Temporary Anchorage Devices, (TADs), to the practice. He has also been certified in the use of lasers for orthodontic use.

Dr. Kraig lives with his wife, Laura in Mound, MN. Laura and Kraig have twin girls, Valerie and Olivia, that are now almost 3 years old! Dr. Kraig and Laura are staying very busy with them when he isn't creating smiles in the office.

Dr. Kraig enjoys playing basketball and almost all outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, and golfing.
